The Path of Clarity in Daily Life

A path of purification:

  • Sīla (Virtue)– Living with integrity as a foundation for peace

  • Samādhi (Concentration)– Cultivating calm and steady attention

  • Paññā (Wisdom)– Seeing reality clearly, beyond assumptions

  • Learning to observe your mind without judgment

  • Using the breath as a stable object amid life’s changes

  • Strengthening mental clarity, even during work, stress, or relationships

“Just as the path is purified gradually, so too the mind becomes clear, like a still lake reflecting the moon.”— Visuddhimagga

Experienced Instructor for Your Meditation Journey

Kyaw Zin Htoon

I am Kyaw Zin Htoon, a meditation teacher trained in the traditional Theravāda lineage of the Pa-Auk Forest Monastery. I was ordained in 2011 and underwent intensive training under the guidance of Venerable Pa-Auk Sayadaw himself, as well as other senior teachers in the lineage.

Over the years, I studied and practiced the systematic path of purification (Visuddhimagga), combining ethical conduct (sīla), deep concentration (samādhi), and penetrative insight (paññā)— with an emphasis on mindfulness of breathingas the main object for mental development.

In parallel with meditative practice, I received two degrees for Pali and Buddhist study (in 2019 and 2020) through traditional study, focusing on the Pāli Canon and Buddhist commentarial literature. These studies deepened my understanding of the original words of the Buddha and the classical frameworks of liberation.

With more than 10 years of experience offering guidance, I support meditators — lay and monastic, beginner and advanced — through:

  • One-on-one consultations that are tailored to personal temperament and meditation progress

  • Guided group sessions integrating clear instructions, theory, and time for discussion

  • A compassionate, structured approach rooted in the suttas, commentaries, and lived experience

Though trained in monastic discipline, I now dedicate my work to helping householders and working professionals apply these timeless teachings in daily life— to face modern challenges with a clear, steady, and joyful mind.
